North Platte Conditions: 450 CFS (at Northgate), algae on rocks in meadows section and in canyon, caddis, drakes, midges on meadows section. Clear water.
Pouder Conditions: 700 CFS at mouth of canyon.
- First evening, meadows section. Mosquitos were bad, lots of insects on surface, no fish. Stayed at Delany Buttes north lake. Full moon.
- Next Morning. Same as above
- Canyon in the afternoon: Caught a few on two-nymph rig. Algae bad.
- Hiked Rainbow lake in the morning of 7/3. Caught about 10 on small dries at outlet of big lake, and inlet of small lake. Rainbows, cutbows, cuthroat, brook.
- Stayed at Penigree Rd campsite.
- Morning of 7/4, fished Indian Meadows section 7:00-9:30. Caught a few small browns on two nymph rig
